About Us

Biloxi has always been blessed with people dedicated to helping the City reach its phenomenal potential.

In 1989, a group of energetic business & community leaders came together to discuss ways to promote & enhance the City of Biloxi.

Inspired by the New Orleans Business Council, this group of visionary men & women decided to make promoting Biloxi a priority.

As a result, the Biloxi Bay Business Council was formed.  After that, the Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce was formed in May 1993.

The BBCC officially changed its name to the Biloxi Bay Area Chamber in June 2016; therefore including the cities along the Gulf Coast.

Today, the #BBACC has over 800 members & continues to grow.

The organization maintains its mission to enhance & promote the City of Biloxi.

The #BBACC’s many accomplishments illustrate that they are indeed successfully directing the path for Biloxi’s exciting future.

Since its inception, the #BBACC has served as a voice for Biloxi.  The #BBACC celebrates Biloxi’s positive aspects & encouraging projects.

For instance, the #BBACC promotes the State of the City Annual Luncheon, & includes over 600 of the mayor’s closest friends.

In the past, the group has sponsored activities and spearheaded projects that made the most of all Biloxi has to offer.

The Chamber achieves such impressive success through the hard work and commitment of seven committees:

  • Community Relations
  • Education
  • Membership & Ambassadors
  • Government Affairs
  • Media/Public Relations

Each committee is chaired by a Chamber Vice President, who heads the committees’ activities.

“We are always ready to help shape a bright and strong future for the City of Biloxi.”
